The White Horse Inn is a traditional real ale pub in the small town of Clun, set within the beautiful South Shropshire hills, area of outstanding natural beauty.

We serve a wide selection of local real ales including those from our own micro-brewery; and a varied menu of home cooked food, much of which is locally sourced, served in our convivial bar or quieter dining room everyday. We have four bed and breakfast rooms and provide free wi-fi Internet access. On sunny days, our secluded beer garden at the rear of the pub is just the ticket.

The landlord, Jack Limond loves his real ale and is glad that Duty Manager Matt Bird shares his enthusiam, keeping our cellar and local real ales to the highest standard. Up to eight real ales and ciders can be served. Jack is also co-founder of the Clun Brewery. Jack holds the Cask Marque and The White Horse Inn has been listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide continually since 2002. We are proud that we are now featured in the Good Pub Guide and the AA Pub Guide. Our view of local business has led us to be one of five businesses given an "Achiever" award by the Shropshire Hills Sustainable Business scheme in which we won the "Eat Local" category.
Our regular ales and ciders include Clun Brewery "Clun Pale Ale", Wye Valley "Butty Bach", Hobsons "Bitter", Three Tuns "XXX", Salopian "Shropshire Gold", Robinsons Flagon Cider; Westons First Quality Cider and Westons Country Perry.

During the Mayday Bank Holiday, Clun's Green Man Festival takes place almost on our doorstep with bank holiday Sundays fair happening right outside our door. we host a four day Booze 'n' Blues Festival and in October, we are one of seven pubs taking part in the popular Clun Valley Beer Festival. We take active part in Clun's other celebrations, including the famous Green Man Festival on May Day Bank Holiday.
