About Us
The White Horse is a small sixteenth century inn on Clun's ancient market square. The bar consists of one front room, where drinkers and eaters mix. Seldom quiet this area is the heart of the pub and at colder times it is heated by our glorious wood burning Clearview Stove.
From the bar there is a doorway through to the self contained dining room, which comfortably holds twenty four people.
To the rear of the bar is a games room with pool table and darts board. Other games such as dominos backgammon, and cards are available. Poker tables and chips are also available.
The pub is run by Jack, Hannah & Liz Limond, who took over in 2001. Since then we have turned the first floor into four en-suite bed & breakfast rooms, added the dining room in what used to be Jack's mothers front room and remodelled the garden.
