Jack Limond the Landlord

In the White Horse Inn, a seventeenth century listed building, a warm welcome awaits as the real log fire blazes.

Once a post house in the days when Clun was a bustling market town; today the White Horse Inn remains a traditional inn, where home cooked food and a selection of real ales refresh the discerning tastes of both locals and visitors who come to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside. Our menu aims to allure the most discerning of diners, ranging from old traditional favourites to more exotic dishes. We also provide a range of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The landlord, Jack Limond, takes pride in his cellar, keeping our real ales to the highest standard. He currently holds the Cask Marque and has featured in the 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 CAMRA Good Beer Guides.
Normally we stock Salopian Brewery, "Shropshire Gold"; Wye Valley Brewery, "Butty Bach"; John Roberts Brewing Co. "XXX"  and Hobson's "Bitter". Plus guest ales and "real" Weston's "First Quality" Cider. We also serve Carling and Stella Artois lagers; Worthington Creamflow; Strongbow, Woodpecker Ciders and Guinness.
In addition to our beers and ciders we have an extensive, bottled beer, wine list and a full range of spirits.
